This song is about the travel from mining refinery to luxury space station. The beginning of the song is supposed to represent the feeling of fluttering butterflies right before take off. When everything drops in the beginning is the lighting of the engines as it achieves lift off. The space in the first verse is supposed to illicit a feeling of vast openness that our characters are experiencing looking out into the passing solar system. When the drums pulse up is them relaxing into the idea that they’re on the next step of life together. The prechorus supports that feeling by lifting the song into a place where our characters are safe with each other. The new chorus has a harmony this time around signifying the unity of the pleasure of the trip. The second verse now has a melody that could easily be whistled or hummed by our space travellers. Again, excitement surrounds our characters as they arrive at their destination.
